Hi!  My name is Graham Sale. I’m the creator and artist behind Club Crib.  Because I’m single and have no kids I’m often asked why I created an infant/children’s clothing line. That’s a good question. Here’s why…

In the past, when friends’ babies or toddlers had birthdays or events that required a gift, I could never find anything to give them.  Since babies always need clothes that was generally my choice. But many styles I found were very ordinary and adorned with generic ducks and bunnies or they were expensive couture-type clothing. I just couldn’t see myself giving my friends ducks and bunnies or paying outrageous prices for clothes that wouldn't fit in a month.  Besides, babies don’t care what they wear; it was my friends and the rest of the world that had to look at them in it.  I couldn’t seem to find anything special that represented my relationship with my friends that I thought they’d like and get a kick out of.  

So, since I'm an illustrator and designer I thought I’d put my head to it. I figure there’s only a short window of time when parents can dress their children in what they want to see them in, before children start seeing things on TV and notice what other kids are wearing and begin telling mom and dad what to get for them.  So, in the meantime why not have some fun?  I work on the same principle as children’s movies and cartoons that include humor for adults so moms and dads can enjoy them too.

My goal is to create images with good messages that are fun and parents can relate to.  My hope is they are as fun to give as to receive and most of all - wear!
